The future is on the shop floor.

Imagine a Shenzhen afternoon that begins with a phone in your hand and ends with a different idea of what a technology brand sells. The interesting question is how those products fit into everyday life: your home, your commute and the devices you already use.

Two Nanshan retail stops make a useful starting point.

Xiaomi: Shenzhen Tower flagship

Choose the Xiaomi Home store at Xiaomi Shenzhen Tower in the Houhai area, near Talent Park. Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported that the store opened with the tower on 18 July 2025, covering 1,591 square metres. Opening report.

A subsequent Shenzhen University visit described product experiences spanning smartphones, smart vehicles and smart home technology. Our suggestion: choose one everyday task and ask how the available devices work together. Check which demonstration units and vehicles are on display before travelling for a particular model. Huawei: MixC World flagship

Huawei's official directory lists its Shenzhen MixC World flagship at units SL113 and SL213, open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. Its store page offers device guidance and reservation routes for Huawei classes and smart home experiences. Official store directory · Flagship experiences.

Start with something concrete: taking a photograph, moving between screens or controlling a connected room. Ask for a demonstration and judge what feels useful to you. Classes, specialist demonstrations and test drives have their own booking conditions; English assistance needs confirmation.

Build a day around your curiosity

These stores are separate stops, with travel between them. Choose one for a relaxed afternoon, or plan both with a meal break. Public retail visits do not include access to company offices or research facilities.

If buying, ask about software, app availability, compatibility and warranty support in your home market.
