Yun Jing at Raffles Shenzhen holds two Michelin stars; Xin Rong Ji at PA Mall holds one in the 2026 Shenzhen selection. They offer different starting points for a food-led visit: Cantonese cooking with elevated bay views, or Taizhou cuisine centred on seafood. These awards belong to the specific Shenzhen restaurants. Michelin’s 2026 announcement records two two-star and five one-star restaurants in the city, with no three-star restaurant.
A memorable meal can give a Shenzhen day its shape. Choose the table that interests you, then leave room around it for the neighbourhood, the journey and a little discovery. Here are two places to consider, followed by a useful distinction about DEMONIA, which also appears in restaurant searches.
Yun Jing 云璟: Cantonese cooking above the bay
Two Michelin stars · Nanshan · Raffles Shenzhen. Yun Jing sits on the hotel’s 70th floor at One Shenzhen Bay. Michelin describes a Cantonese menu that brings familiar traditions together with new ideas, against panoramic city and ocean views. Its range includes double-boiled soups, barbecue, poultry and seafood. See Michelin’s Yun Jing listing.
Our planning suggestion: make this the main meal of a day focused on Nanshan and the waterfront. The setting gives you a reason to slow the route down and spend time at the table. Choose lunch or dinner according to the experience you want and your return journey, rather than squeezing it between distant stops.
Exact address: 70F, Raffles Shenzhen, T7, One Shenzhen Bay, 3008 Zhongxin Road, Nanshan. Raffles lists lunch from 11:30 to 14:30 and dinner from 17:30 to 22:00 daily. Confirm your date, menu and reservation with the restaurant through its official Yun Jing page.
Xin Rong Ji 新荣记: a Taizhou table in Futian
One Michelin star · Futian · PA Mall. The Shenzhen branch focuses on Taizhou cuisine and East China Sea seafood. Michelin describes an intimate, wood-rich dining room with nine tables and several private rooms. It is a different expression of a special meal: a regional Chinese cuisine to explore through the ingredients and the dishes you order. See Michelin’s Xin Rong Ji listing.
Our planning suggestion: pair it with a Futian day and give the meal a generous window. Before reserving, explain your party size, dietary needs and budget, and ask what is recommended for that date. A seafood-led menu rewards a conversation about current availability.
Exact branch: N605, 6F, PA Mall, 5033 Yitian Road, Futian. Use this address when confirming a reservation. Michelin lists the restaurant’s direct number as +86 755 2868 1277. The Shenzhen award is one star; a three-star claim about a Beijing branch does not describe this table.
What about DEMONIA 厨魔?
DEMONIA appears in the restaurant-search screenshots that prompted this guide. The accompanying review text refers to a Hong Kong flagship’s three-star history. It does not verify a Michelin award for the Shenzhen branch, and DEMONIA is not among the seven starred restaurants in Michelin’s 2026 Shenzhen announcement.
We therefore do not present DEMONIA Shenzhen as a Michelin-starred restaurant. You can still investigate it as a separate dining option, but check its current branch details and menu directly. Treat Black Pearl diamonds, customer ratings and Michelin stars as separate distinctions when comparing restaurants.
Build the day around one good meal
Start with the reservation, then plan the rest. Pick a nearby area to explore before or after, allow for traffic, and leave time to enjoy the restaurant. For a Hong Kong day trip, work backwards from your intended crossing and return time. Our Hong Kong to Shenzhen guide covers the journey; our food guide includes all seven Michelin-starred Shenzhen restaurants.
Confirm the current menu, total price, deposit and cancellation terms before booking. The prices in restaurant-search screenshots can describe past promotions or reported spending; they are not a verified quote for your visit. Both Michelin restaurant pages direct diners to contact the venue for reservations.
Make it your Shenzhen
Plan your private Shenzhen day on Shenzhen Unfolded and mention Yun Jing or Xin Rong Ji, your preferred mealtime and dietary needs in the notes. Private hosting and route planning costs US$149 per person per day. Restaurant meals, transport and other third-party costs are separate. A restaurant request remains subject to availability and confirmation.
